Dentures and implant-retained dentures in Tirana
A well-made denture restores the way you eat and speak; two or four implants stop it moving altogether. We make conventional, flexible and implant-retained dentures, and we are honest about which suits your jaw.

Denture options

Full acrylic denture
The traditional option for a complete arch, made with a try-in so you approve the look before it is finished.

Partial denture
Replaces several missing teeth with a metal or flexible base that clips discreetly to the remaining teeth.

Implant-retained overdenture
Two to four implants with locator attachments hold the denture firmly, especially on a lower jaw.

Immediate denture
Fitted on the day teeth are removed so you are never without a smile; relined once healing is complete.

How dentures are made
- Visit 1
Impressions and bite
Accurate impressions and a bite record decide how stable and natural the finished denture will feel.
- Visit 2
Wax try-in
You see and approve the tooth position, shade and lip support before the denture is processed.
- Visit 3
Fitting
The finished denture is fitted and the bite refined. Most patients need one or two comfort adjustments afterwards.
- If implants are used
Attachments after healing
Implants are placed first and the locator attachments are connected to the denture three to four months later.
Looking after a denture
- Clean it over a bowl of water with a denture brush and soap, not toothpaste.
- Leave it out at night in water so the gums can rest and recover.
- Return for adjustment if a sore spot appears, never file the denture yourself.
- Expect a reline every two to three years as the jaw shape changes.

Frequently asked questions
- Why does my lower denture move so much?
- The lower jaw offers far less suction than the upper. Two implants with locator attachments are the most effective, and often the most affordable, way to stop the movement.
- How many days do dentures take?
- A conventional denture normally needs three to four appointments over about a week, which fits comfortably into a single trip to Tirana.
- Can I upgrade a denture to implants later?
- Often yes. An existing well-fitting denture can sometimes be adapted onto implant attachments, which we assess with a CBCT scan.
- How much does a denture cost at your clinic?
- Albanian dental guidelines do not allow clinics to publish prices online. Send photos or an X-ray on WhatsApp and we send a personal costed plan privately, confirmed after your in-clinic examination.
A reply within hours
