A short course focused on the smile line, typically three to six months for mild crowding.
Full-arch alignment
Both arches corrected including the bite, usually nine to eighteen months depending on the case.
Pre-cosmetic alignment
Straightening first means fewer veneers and less tooth removal when we finish the smile.
Retainers and relapse
Fixed wire plus a clear night retainer keeps the result, replacements can be posted to you.

Damon self-ligating braces
When rotation or bite correction is beyond aligners, self-ligating brackets do the work with fewer adjustment appointments.
Metal and ceramic braces
Fixed appliances remain the reference option for complex movements, in steel or tooth-coloured ceramic.
Retainers
Fixed wire or clear vacuum-formed retainers finish every case, because teeth drift back without them.

Frequently asked questions
- How many trips to Tirana do I need?
- Usually two: one for records and fitting the first aligners, and one at the end for refinement and retainers. Progress between those is checked remotely with photos.
- Are aligners as effective as fixed braces?
- For most crowding and spacing, yes. Complex bite corrections, large rotations and some extraction cases are still handled more predictably with fixed braces, and we will say so at the assessment.
- Will anyone notice I am wearing them?
- Aligners are thin and clear. Small tooth-coloured attachments may be needed for certain movements, but they are far less visible than brackets and wires.
