What the process looks like

X-ray review
A panoramic X-ray gives a first indication of bone height. We flag early if grafting is likely so there are no surprises.

CBCT and decision
The 3D scan measures exact bone volume and sinus anatomy, and we agree whether grafting happens with or before the implant.
Trip 1 · Day 2
Grafting surgery
Performed under local anaesthetic, with sedation available. Expect swelling for a few days and soft food for a week.
4–9 months later
Implant placement
A confirmation CBCT checks the graft has matured, then the implant is placed into stable, rebuilt bone.

Recovery and aftercare

Do not blow your nose forcefully for two weeks after a sinus lift.
Use the prescribed antibiotics and antiseptic rinse exactly as directed.
Eat soft, cool food for the first week and avoid the surgical site when brushing.
Stop smoking, it is the most common reason a graft fails to integrate.
