Flights and transfers

Getting from the UK to Tirana and from the airport to the clinic.

  • How long is the flight from the UK to Tirana?

About three hours from London and roughly the same from Manchester. Wizz Air, British Airways and Ryanair fly direct to Tirana International Airport, and there are several departures a week from most large UK airports throughout the year.

  • Do UK citizens need a visa for Albania?

No. British passport holders can enter Albania visa free for stays of up to 90 days, which comfortably covers any dental trip. Your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay. Always confirm current rules on the UK government travel pages before booking.

  • Do you arrange airport transfers?

Yes. Tell us your flight details and we arrange a driver to meet you at Tirana airport and bring you to your hotel or straight to the clinic. The drive takes around 30 minutes. Transfers between your hotel and appointments can also be arranged.

Trips and timing

How many trips your treatment needs and how long each one lasts.

  • How many trips to Albania will I need?

Most implant patients need two: three to five days for surgery, then four to six days for the final crowns after three to four months of healing. Veneers, crowns and bonding are usually completed in a single visit of five to seven days.

  • Can everything be done in one trip?

For cosmetic work, yes. For implants, a same-trip immediate-load solution is sometimes possible with temporary teeth fitted within days of surgery, but the definitive restoration still needs healing time. We tell you honestly at planning stage which route your case allows.

  • What is the best time of year to come?

Spring and autumn are the most comfortable, with mild weather and cheaper flights than the July and August peak. The clinic works year round, so choose the dates that suit your recovery time and let us build the appointment schedule around them.

UK patients

  • How many trips to Albania will I need?

Most implant and full arch cases need two trips of three to four days, separated by three to four months of healing at home. Crowns, veneers and bonding are usually completed in a single trip. Complex full mouth rebuilds may be staged across three visits.

  • Why can I not see prices on this page?

Albanian dental guidelines do not allow clinics to publish treatment prices online. Send photos or a panoramic X-ray on WhatsApp and we send your written package plan with costs privately by email, with no obligation to book.

  • Is dental treatment in Albania safe for UK patients?

Treatment is carried out by licensed Albanian clinicians using CE marked implant systems and materials, with sterilisation protocols documented for every instrument set. You receive the brand and batch details of everything placed, so any UK dentist can service the work later.
